Quite often the Dow experienced corrections, other times the market was able to bounce and end higher at the end of the tightening phase. I guess the big questions are just "how confident" is the investing public in the US's recovery and "where" is fair value?</p>

I recall getting into mortgage banking when rates were at 18% and it's been a long process to where they are today. You have to ask yourself however. If this were a long term trend of a stock, wouldn't you *want* to be a contrarian at this point?
